Meet the Doctors
Dr. David R. Behringer
​
After receiving his D.D.S. in 1987 from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, Dr. David Behringer went on to complete his orthodontic residency and earn his certificate in orthodontics from the University of Illinois. Often speaking to school groups, service organizations and peer groups about orthodontics, Dr. Behringer is a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, Maumee Valley Dental Society, American Association of Orthodontists, Ohio Association of Orthodontists and the Great Lakes Society of Orthodontists.
Dr. Behringer and his wife, Amy, have two children, Connor and Alexa. He enjoys volunteering with the YMCA, United Way and Rotary International and is a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. In his free time, he enjoys golf, skiing, rollerblading, attending sporting events and spending time with his family
Dr. Jon J. Eckhardt
Dr. Jon Eckhardt is originally from Newark, Ohio. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio Wesleyan University with a double major in pre-professional zoology and psychology and a minor in chemistry. Dr. Eckhardt then moved to Cleveland, where he attended Case Western Reserve University (CWRU), School of Dentistry. While earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, he received awards in research and the Dean’s award for academic excellence. He also completed his residency in orthodontics at CWRU and received his Master of Science in Dentistry in orthodontics and specialty certification.
Upon completing his training as an orthodontist, Dr. Eckhardt relocated to Bryan. He immediately began practicing with Drs. George Brown, Craig Herman, and David Behringer. Dr. Eckhardt is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Great Lakes Association of Orthodontists, the Ohio Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, and the Maumee Valley Dental Society.

Dr. Eckhardt and his wife, Laura, have been actively involved with community organizations. Laura has a Ph.D. in a clinical psychology and works at Midwest Community Health Associates. They have a son, Max.
In his spare time, Dr. Eckhardt enjoys wakeboarding, water skiing, tubing, fishing, roller-blading, softball, basketball, and snow skiing.
Dr. Jon Potocki

Dr. Potocki is a native of Michigan. He attended the University of Michigan for his undergraduate and dental degrees. He then was commissioned as a dental officer in the US Army. After completion of his Army commitment Dr. Potocki completed a 1-year fellowship in Craniofacial biology at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Potocki was then accepted into the orthodontic training program at the University of Kentucky where he completed his certificate in orthodontics and masters degree. Dr. Potocki, his wife and two daughters enjoy the outdoors including hiking and canoeing
